UMW: United Methodist Women
The United Methodist Women of Powell Church share a common goal—women united to serve.

The purpose of the organized unit of United Methodist Women:

  1. To know God and experience freedom through Jesus Christ.
  2. To develop a creative, supportive fellowship.
  3. To expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

At Powell Church we seek spiritual food through scripture, study, prayer, and fellowship. Our hope is that we continue to grow in Him and are a light to all in need. Three small groups of women ("Circles") of varying age comprise the unit.
