Clothing Ministry

Greg & Hunter Long are working with Preacher Bob’s Highways & By-ways Ministry for the Homeless & are currently in need of the following items for the clothing ministry as you clean out your closets.
 
Please keep in mind that we have no storage available for out of season clothing as this ministry is run out of our garage. We do not need children’s clothing or dress style clothes. Please help us by only donating spring/summer items listed below

Men

  • Socks, underwear, boxers
  • Blue Jeans/khakis: Only need waist sizes 28 to 38
  • Shorts: Only need waist sizes 28-38
  • T-shirts
  • Tennis shoes Sizes 9+

Women

  • Under Garments
  • Blue Jeans/Capri’s/shorts 0-26
  • T-shirts S-XXXL
  • Tennis Shoes

General Items

  • Bug spray
  • Backpacks
  • Candles
  • Hotel shampoo/soaps

Understanding The Need

The Clothing Ministry typically serves 75-150 homeless per week. We always need socks, undergarments and jeans. We can only use the above listed items, please donate any other items you may have to The Powell Community Chest. Let them know you are from Powell Church and they will swap out items with us that we can use for the homeless.
